RUTILEA Group Secures ¥1 Billion Capital Loan from Japan Finance Corporation for AI Fukushima’s Expansion

With the mission of "Making AI Simple," RUTILEA Inc. (Kyoto, Japan; CEO: Takafumi Yano) is engaged in both its Vertical AI business and AI Cloud business. We are pleased to announce that AI Fukushima Inc. (Okuma, Futaba District, Fukushima, Japan; CEO: Takafumi Yano), a 100% subsidiary of RUTILEA responsible for providing AI cloud services, has successfully completed the process of securing a ¥1 billion capital loan from the Japan Finance Corporation in December 2024 under the "Special Loan Program for Strengthening Capital Support for Challengers."


With this financing, the RUTILEA Group has secured ¥1 billion in new funding without equity dilution. This loan program is part of a national initiative by the Japan Finance Corporation, designed to support startups engaged in new business ventures in collaboration with private financial institutions.


For our new business initiatives (with a total planned investment of ¥8.2 billion), funding is being secured through a coordinated effort between the Japan Finance Corporation and private financial institutions, including Kyoto Bank, Resona Bank, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. As a result, the RUTILEA Group's cumulative total funding has now reached approximately ¥11 billion.

Use of Funds

The funds will be used for the establishment of a GPU data center by AI Fukushima, the development of an AI platform utilizing this center, and investments in new business initiatives, research, and development.


About Our Business

Since our founding in 2018, we have been developing Vertical AI solutions tailored to specific industries, including government agencies, the automotive sector, and the pharmaceutical industry. In 2024, we launched our AI Cloud business by establishing a GPU data center in Okuma, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture.
